After exiting hibernation mode windows 10 or in normal use, the speed of wi-fi drops. I have been watching this for a long time. It helps only reconnection and then not always. The driver is 20.80.0.ддд.PNGСнимоклл.PNG

OEM antenna FCC certification

Hello,

we choose flexible plannar antennas Molex 146153-1300 to our currently developed product that has internal PC motherboard with M2 PCI slot.

Antennas will be used with Intel 9260NGW.NV wireless module.

Unit will be sale worldwide including EUR, US, Canada, Korea and New Zealand.

Do we need any additional certification to use this antennas with Intel wifi module?

Do you have any further information on this?

We presume, that we can just use any internal wifi antenna that will be suitable to our design with Intel wifi module and than use FCC ID of that wifi module.

Because antenna is passive part and is in range specified by table above, we assume that it does not need any other FCC certifiction. Correct?

Please let me know if there is any question,

Thank you

I have recently purchased a Dell G5 5587 and I am currently experiencing issues with the wifi card. When I go into device manager it says that there is an error 10 code. When I look into the event viewer the message in the title pops up.

I have already tried resetting the laptop to the factory state which fixes the problem temporarily and then the same problem reappears. I have also tried doing a network reset but that didn't fix the problem either.

I don't know what is causing the problem since the wifi card works after I factory reset my laptop but the device breaks again a few days after. Please help.

Not detecting newer driver available - Intel Driver & Support Assistant

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Yoga (Win10 1803) running the Intel Driver & Support Assistant v3.5.1.7 and the system has an Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260. The issue is that the Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not detecting when there is a newer WiFi driver available:

* Tested the Intel Driver & Support Assistant with Firefox 62.0.2, Edge (1803) and IE11 (1803) - all 3 browsers report that "Your Intel® software is up to date."

* The Intel 7260 is using this driver -> Version: 20.70.0 (Previously Released) Date: 7/31/2018, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27989/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?product=75440

* However, there is a newer driver available -> Version: 20.80.0 (Latest) Date: 9/11/2018, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28143/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?v=t

* Lenovo no longer publishes updated drivers for this device so I rely on the  Intel Driver & Support Assistant to keep the drivers up to date (usually needed when a new version of Windows 10 is released every 6 months)

Because the Intel Driver & Support Assistant is showing the Intel 7260 WiFi is up to date, I wanted to see if you could check the attached Intel Driver & Support Assistant logs to see why it isn't seeing the newer driver. Also, let me know if there are any other logs I can send over. Thanks!

Permanently deleting networks from available networks

Judging by replies in other forums, there may be nothing that can be done but I wanted to give it another shot.  I would like to permanently delete (not forget) networks that I set up and no longer use.  I have Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 on an Alienware 17 R3 laptop computer.  The processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6820HK CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2701 Mhz with an Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC8260 Network Adapter. My Router is an ASUS RT-AC88U.  I have tried “Manage All Networks” and “Forget”, and netsh wlan delete profile name=.  They do not permanently delete the networks from “Show Available Networks.”  These are networks that I created previously but don’t use anymore. How do I permanently delete them?

Intel dual band wireless-AC 7265 great problem

Hello, i use notebook UX303L about 2 years, it has a wireless-AC 7265 adapter,i t works very poorly, because dual-band with bluetooth, bluetooth works on the same frequency as Wi-Fi and interferes with each other.
if I disable bluetooth then the wifi works well.
I tried to buy another one of the same adapter, but the problem was repeated.  Installing newer drivers does not help.
Maybe I'll try to buy a newer adapter...

Intel AC 7260 bluetooth connection interrupted/paused

Hi there, I've change my old wireless card to Intel AC 7260 (7260.HMWWB.R) for few weeks. It's ok on Internet connection. However, when using bluetooth devices, it often has interrupts, about every 30 - 60mins. For example, my headphone has repeated voice in slow speed (just like playing an old scratched disc music) for few secs. With my mouse, it's interrupted for few secs while moving. Sometimes it's totally lost connections with devices although it still shows that 2 devices connected.

I've made a double check with another bluetooth mice but the problem is still there. However, my friend doesn't have any problem if they using my stuff.

I'm using Sony Vaio FIt 14" laptop (SVF14A16SGS), Windows 10 Home 64-bit (Build 17134).

Bluetooth driver: 20.60.0.4

Please let me know what should I do. Thanks in advance!

Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 keeps dropping connection

Hello everyone, this is not a question it's just my report.

If you have recently updated (as updating the drivers for the existing card) your Wireless card in your notebook you may discovered you are having major issues with internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting and having problems with DNS. I couldn't fix the issue for a long time until I reverted back to old drivers.

I discovered that the issue was with this program and drivers:  Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 64-bit, Version: 20.70.0 and 20.80.0

What I did was that I reverted back to these drivers: Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 64-bit, Version: 20.60.0.7.

Now everything works perfectly and no more issues and problems with Wi-FI card dropping connection. I hope Intel your programmers will find the issue beacuse I think there is a bug in these drivers. Hope you could resolve it.

My setup is:

Lenovo ThinkPad-X1-Carbon-5th-Generation-Laptop

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) Version: 1803

Have a nice day!

This card came with the Dell laptop will not start regardless of the driver version.  I have tried 20.50 to 20.80.  None of them worked.  The card is recognized by Windows 10.  Dell service rep suggested rolling back to Windows April update.  Installed the update and still experience the same issue.  I am wondering if the card should be replaced.  Any one can give me some pointer to remedy the issue?

Intel NUC NUC8I7HVK AC 8265 Wifi Slow

I'm getting pretty poor wifi on my new NUC with AC 8265 Wifi.   I've got 150Mb internet, and am getting around 25mb down consistently.  If I tweak some settings on the advanced settings of the NIC, I can get a little more than that, but not much.   With my macbook pro in the same location, I am getting close to 150mb down, which is what I typically get from all my devices, wired or wireless.

I've tried 2 different routers to see if it follows, the NUC has slow speed regardless compared to all my other devices.

I've updated bios, updated latest drivers, tried enabling/disabling Intel Connection settings for the SSID, nothing really changes.  The best luck I have had, was to totally delete the driver from Intel thru device manager, reboot, and let Windows pick the best one, I was able to get closer to 50mb down.  Updating to latest intel drivers, 20.70.1.1, speeds go back to 25mb.  Copying files from my NAS on my LAN is also about the same speed, while other devices all much faster.

Attached is the SSU output of my system.  Running Win 10 enterprise, latest 1803 release.

Thanks for any advice.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 fast roaming issue

$

Hi,

I've observed an incompatibility issue for Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 with Extreme Networks wireless access point. This only happens when both fast roaming (802.11R) and  Protected Management Frames ( PMF) enabled on the wireless access point. Other wireless products e.g. Apple ipad and Samsung phones works fine with the same setup.

Wireless capture shows that when both 802.11r and PMF are enabled on WPA2 enterprise, Lenovo T450 running Windows 10 with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 (driver ver 19.51.14.1) cannot associate. The wireless interface did finish authentication with the radius server successfully and continue with the 4-way handshake. However, in the second message of the 4-way handshake, the wireless client has inserted 2 bytes in the RSN IE shifting the location of the PMKID. The hostapd authenticator (https://w1.fi/hostapd/) checks that the RSN IE in M2 is different from that in the association request and disassociate the client. Hostapd authenticator will give the following error message "WPA: WPA IE from (Re)AssocReq did not match with msg 2/4". This check has been done according to the ieee802.11i standard Section  "4-Way Handshake Message 2" which states that

"...2) If the MIC is valid, the Authenticator checks that the RSN information element bit-wise

matches that from the (Re)Association Request message.

i) If these are not exactly the same, the Authenticator uses MLME-DEAUTHENTICATE.

request primitive to terminate the association."

Can someone look into this please.

Thanks.

Intel AC-8260 Adapter temporary not found or not working

Since 4 Weeks i have the problem, that temporary my Intel AC-8260 adapter is not found with code 45 (Adapter is not connected to the system)

or with Code 31, Windows could not load the drivers.

I have a Lenovo X1 20FC Laptop.

The amazing thing is, that sometimes everything works fine and one day later, the problems comes again.

So i made few things, like:

- Installing all the newest drivers for AC-8260 from Intel (act. Version: 20.70.1.1).

AC-8260.JPG

The device Manager says:

At starting the adapter ROOT\NET\0000 there is a problem.

Driver Name: oem61.inf

Klassen-GUID: {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Dienst: Netwtw06

Lower Filter:

Upper Filter: vwifibus

Problem: 0x1F

Problemstatus: 0xC00000BB

So the sing is, i dont kow, if it is a  hardware problem or a driver problem.

May somebody has the answer :-)

INTEL WIRELESS-AC 9560 not working with channel 36 and 80MHz width

Hello,

I have observed a weird behavior when I'm connecting my device to an access point that is using channel 36 and 80MHz channel width.

Symptom

Client reporting 866Mbps data rate, but the access point tells me the client is running at 13Mbps.

Low throughput and the connection hangs intermittently:

Observation

The client works fine when it's connecting to networks which are using any channels other than ch. 36-48.

It will also work if I force the router to use 20MHz/40MHz channel width (even if it's using ch. 36) or set the option "Channel Width for 5GHz" to 20MHz on the client side.

The system is running Windows 10 1803, I have tried driver version 20.40, 20.50, 20.80 and the problem insisted. I have also tried to connect to access points from different brands (including Ubiquiti, EnGenius and Aruba). I would like to avoid any hardware fix as the chip is soldered on the motherboard and it will be a mess if I have to get the board repaired or exchanged.

Issue with Intel Wireless Gigabit W11100 VR Device card

$

Hello,

I have recently purchased an HTC Vive Wireless Adapter and it came with an Intel Wireless Gigabit W11100 VR Device card.

I installed the card and ran HTC's software that allows me to pair up the Gigabit Wifi Card with the Vive Wireless Adapter but their software is stuck on the opening initialization screen and does nothing but spin its waiting icon until I terminate the program.

HTC's support is not much help, blaming my PC hardware and telling me to contact the vendor after they ran through some basic trouble shooting steps.

I decided to dig further and I found the actual log files which keep writing the same errors over and over again until I terminate the program.

I was hoping that these errors are more indicative with an issue with the Intel Gigabit Wifi card that some here has seen before with similar Intel Wifi products.

Here are some of the relevant errors from the start of the log file:

then it just repeats this error over and over again:

Hopefully someone here recognizes these types of errors and can point me in the right direction.  Even if it is an issue with the card itself, I can return the product and get it replaced.

Thanks!

Hi,

I got a laptop Dell Latitude E6440 with Intel Centrino Advanced N 6235 card installed. I will attach the specifications for Intel Centrino Advanced N 6235.

If I want to replace this Wireless card what are the options? Which Wireless cards are compatible for this laptop?

Thank you,

Regards,

Mihai
